Each year International Women’s Day events are held world wide-(global gatherings). There are many activities happening...from concerts-conferences-to runs-awards-exhibitions-corporate events-speaking events-online digital gatherings and much more. Raise awareness, celebrate achievements or rally for change. To forge a more gender-balanced world….#Balance for Better.

These events are held by women’s networks-corporations-charities-educational institutions-the media-government-bodies-political parties-and further communities. Become involved. Publish your own event!

Expressions of interest are invited from industry associations-chartered industries-professional bodies, and event management; companies worldwide to partner on International Women’s Day 2019 Flagship Events. Co-Branding Rights are secured and a Joint Marketing Agreement (JMA) is entered into.

Typically International Women’s Day Flagship Events are backed by significant corporate and/or government sponsorship.

The 2019 #Balance for Better campaign runs all year. It does not start nor end on International Women’s Day. The campaign theme provides a unified direction to guide and galvanize continuous collective action. #Balance for Better activity is reinforced and amplified all year long.

#Balance for Better is not a women’s issue, it is also a business issue. There is a race for the gender balanced boardroom-gender balanced government-gender balanced employees-gender balanced wealth-gender balanced media- gender balanced sport covering of sports events. Together, we can all play a vital part to succeed, in this quest for equality.

International Women’s Day is a global day. It celebrates social-economic-cultural and political achievements of women, also marking a call-to-action for accelerating gender balance.

The first International Women’s Day occurred in 1911. It was supported by over 1 million people. Today it belongs to All groups collectively everywhere. It is not a country, group or organization specific. Gloria Steinhem, world-renowned feminist, journalist, activist once explained “The story of women’s struggle for equality belongs to no single female nor one organization, but to collective efforts of all who care about the human rights.

Motivate others. Put your hands out and STRIKE THE # Balance for Better Pose. Make International Women’s Day YOUR day to do what you can to truly make a positive difference for all women everywhere. How will you make a difference?
